We are pleased to announce the 2019 edition of the PAC conference, ‘Phonetic and phonological variation in contemporary English: Xperience / Xperimentation', due to take place from Tuesday June 4 to Wednesday June 5 2019 and hosted by the Laboratoire Parole et Langage and Aix-Marseille University in Aix-en-Provence. We shall welcome as invited guest speakers Dominic WATT, from the University of York and Emmanuel FERRAGNE from Paris Diderot University. Both have worked on varieties of English and are currently working on forensic phonetics, among other topics.
